Check up and clean:
It is recommended that you have a general check up and clean every 6 months to ensure your dental health is up to scratch.
At these appointments, if there are any concerns, they can be picked up early and treatment that is required can be a lot more conservative
X-rays:
X-rays may be required by your dentist in order to assess your dental health. Small intraoral x-rays can pick up early signs of decay as well as assess the extent of any decay or infections that may be present.
Large OPG radiographs can be used to assess presence/position of teeth in relation to nerves and vital structures as well as jaw assessment.
